Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These terms govern your use of Fenix (the "App"). By installing or using Fenix, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
Current development status
Fenix is under active alpha/beta development. Features may change, and — being upfront about it — some features may be incomplete or unstable during this phase. Do not rely on Fenix as the only copy of important footage.
What Fenix does
Fenix records video, scans the audio locally on your device for spoken keywords, edits the resulting clip, and — only for third-party platforms you've explicitly connected — publishes it on your behalf. See the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
Acceptable use
- You're responsible for the content you record and upload through Fenix.
- Don't use Fenix to record or publish content that's illegal or infringes someone else's rights.
- Don't use Fenix in a way that violates the terms of service of any third-party platform you connect through it.
- Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, disrupt, or abuse the App or the services it connects to.
Connecting third-party platforms
When you connect a third-party platform account (such as YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram) through Fenix, you are also bound by that platform's own terms of service. We are not responsible for those platforms' policies, content moderation decisions, or enforcement actions — disputes about content on a connected platform are between you and that platform.
Purchases and subscriptions
Mobile purchases are a one-time unlock; desktop purchases are a subscription. Both are processed through the relevant platform's own store (Apple App Store, Google Play) or through Stripe. Refunds are handled directly by that store under its own refund policy — we do not process refunds ourselves.
Termination
We may suspend or restrict access to Fenix for accounts that abuse the App or violate these terms. You may stop using the App and disconnect any connected accounts at any time.
No warranty
Fenix is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We're a small, early-stage app — we make no guarantee that Fenix will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fenix and its developer aren't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including lost content, lost revenue, or issues with a third-party platform you've connected.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change, the "Last updated" date above will change too. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised terms.
